It feels like 50 degrees outside today!

Can you believe it? A car rear-ended me right in front of my house. I put my blinker on and heard the screeching behind me. I should have accelerated forward just then, but I missed my opportunity. The poor girl that hit me was scared stiff and was taking her daughter out; it was her birthday. I felt really bad. So, I was almost going to let her go because the bumper only had a few scratches on it and hey, the car has scratches on it already so it was no big deal. But upon further scrutiny, the bumper was broken on the bottom.
We exchanged information (took pictures of her license and insurance and dumped it into Evernote) and she happens to be friends with a local car repair shop and will just pay to have the bumper replaced as it looks like that is less expensive than her deductible.
